Casiokids – En Vill Hest

Casiokids are a Norwegian band with a lot of weird videoclips. The word goes that they formed the band to make music a bit more visual which resulted in weird stuff on stage including a shadow puppet theatre. They have released their new album Aabenbarngen Over Aaskammen last month of which you can download the first song over here. Apperently they use the same Casio sounds (keyboard) as Salt & Pepa in their hit single Push It. They are playing tomorrow night at Bitterzoet in Amsterdam.

De La Soul – 4 More

One of the most influencial hiphop groups ever released their album Stakes Is High on which the track 4 More is featured. The group produced most of it themselves but also includes tracks from J. Dilla.The album wasn’t so successful as their debut album 3 Feet High and Rising which delivered the hit Me, Myself and I. The track samples Chico Hamilton's A Rose For Booker but the most important sample is the one from Sharon Redd which De La use for as their chorus.
