Modjo - What I Mean ("The Crayon Remix" by Aloud)
The original by Modjo is featured on it's self-titled album from 2001 but it isn't that great to be honest. It's pretty acoustic and poppy sounding. People probably know Modjo for their hit Lady. The remix by Grégory Louis and Cyril Bodin, who form the group Aloud, is a nice weird take on the OG. Aloud started making French House stuff like Sex & Sun Part III after going into a more poppy direction with their band.

Cassius - The Sound Of Violence (Cosmo Vitelli Remix)
Cassius is a French House music duo from, you guessed it, France. Philippe Zdar and Boom Bass started producing albums for hiphop dude MC Solaar (this one is from the film La Haine and I don't know who produced it) in 1988. The remix comes from fellow Frenchie Benjamin Boguet aka Cosmo Vitelli. He owns I'm A Cliché Records on which he releases music by the likes of Azari & III.
